Formerly a CPA specializing in corporate tax matters and audits, I joined the Travel 100 Group nearly twenty years ago and have never looked back.

An outdoor enthusiast who loves nature and hiking, my passion for travel often leads me to remote locations that are "off the beaten path," such as trekking through the Chilean Andes for a soak in the Termas De Puyuhuapi, forging a new path high atop the Cuillins in the Isle of Skye of Scotland, small ship cruising along with pods of orcas in Alaska's inside passage, or hiking the Kootenay Ranges - back country trails up in the Canadian Rockies.

Given my love of nature, it makes perfect sense that I am also an expert in luxury hotels, after all, one needs proper recovery time after exhausting days of outdoor adventure! In earning this expertise throughout my travel career, I have served on advisory boards of Ritz Carlton Hotels, Fairmont-Raffles Hotels and Rosewood Hotels, and have also been featured as the cover story of Luxury Travel Advisor - September 2009 issue.

Other interests include: music - I was an on air DJ for several years responsible for programming jazz and blues music for an NPR affiliate station, collecting vintage vinyl records and going to concerts keeps me busy when - not traveling; spirits - I keenly appreciate fine aged spirits with a focus on Wheated bourbons and American rye. My life's greatest accomplishments include my wonderful wife and my two incredible daughters! If the kids are young and you need to know about family travel just call me - I've got you covered!
