With over 35 years of experience in the travel industry, I specialize in custom travel for families, honeymooners and couples. I am a 3rd generation travel advisor, my grandparents bought Sentinel Travel almost 80 years ago and today we are proud member of the Travel 100 Group.

For me being a good advisor is listening to my clients and using my knowledge to help find them the best trip possible. I want to find the perfect balance in planning a trip between time and budget.

I always say that picking a favorite destination is like having a favorite child! I love to include soft adventure when I travel. The highlight of my travels is probably the safari I took to East Africa, it exceeded all of my expectations. Costa Rica is another favorite destination for adventure travel, and I always enjoy my time in London. I have been to 5 of the 7 continents and a total of 50 countries. I am still hoping to visit Iceland, Antarctica and New Zealand! We took a lot of trips when I was growing up, and I have many fond memories of the time together and the places we visited.

One piece of advice I tell families when they travel, is that everyone should pick one activity/place they really want to see and make sure it is covered on the trip. This way everyone has a buy in and no one comes home and complains they missed the one thing they were looking forward to seeing.

Working with people is one of the things I enjoy most about my job. Over time, my clients have become my friends. I learn about their families, their hobbies and what they enjoy most about travel.

I have wonderful clients whose family motto is "it's either a good time or a good story". You have to be flexible when you travel and things don't always go as planned. This attitude helps to make the bumps a little smaller as you can think of the funny story it will make.
