I have been a travel agent since 1987. During these 3+ decades, I have seen and adapted to new challenges in the industry. In 1991, I began working with a construction-related association and through referrals and networking, this became my "boutique" client base. However, what really kept me going and growing is the "personalized service" I provide my clients. I take care of them just as if they were a family member. Whether it's simply a domestic airline flight or the most luxurious and detailed customized trip in Africa, I work at creating memorable travel memories and service.

My favorite destinations are: Italy, Jamaica (or anywhere in the Caribbean!), and Mexico. I recently traveled on two European river cruises and am now madly in love with that product. Domestically, I love Charleston and Savannah, and any U.S. city like Austin, New Orleans, and Memphis that is jam-packed with Blues Clubs!

Best travel memories: Completing the walk through the Siq (gorge) in Petra and facing the amazing red clay edifice of The Treasury. Ascending Machu Picchu - the gorgeous photos do not compare with the real thing. The weeklong cooking class I did in Tuscany with the Italian Grandmothers.

Important Travel Tips: Bring at least one day's worth of clean clothes in your carry-on luggage - especially when traveling to your destination. If it's a beach location, bring a bathing suit and sandals. Bring bubble wrap for any breakables you want to pack in your suitcase. Lastly, invest in an annual travel insurance policy!
